Deafheaven, a long-running and critically acclaimed metal band, has signed to Roadrunner Records and will release their first album since 2021, "Lonely People with Power." Lonely People with Power was recorded with producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Paramore, Jimmy Eat World) and features vocals from Boy Harsher's Jae Matthews and Interpol's Paul Banks. The Roadrunner debut will be released as a double LP deluxe edition.
"It's an honor to welcome Deafheaven to Roadrunner," says label boss Johnny Minardi. "They've always been a band that pushes boundaries, and this album continues that in a great way. Chris Brown and I have always been fans and I'm very proud to have them as part of the label's next generation."
