Symphony for the Lost is a live album by the doom/death metal band Paradise Lost, recorded at the ancient Roman theater of Philippopolis in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The sound quality is spot on and they've done a great job capturing one of the most memorable shows of their career. Paradise Lost has often used orchestration in the studio over the years, and when it came to choosing the set list, they selected some along with tracks that they thought would lend themselves well to classical arrangements. The result is an extensive collection of songs with the collaboration of the Orchestra of State Opera Plovdiv and the Rodna Pesen Choir.
