Formed in 1990, Swedish black metal pioneers Marduk is not only one of the longest running and respected black metal acts out there, but also one of the most prolific. Even thirteen albums into their storied career, the quartet has never delivered a weak album and never deviated from their path of utter profanity and misanthropic contempt. Now Century Media Records and the band are revisiting several in-demand titles from their extensive catalog: 2004's "Plague Angel" was the first release to feature current vocalist Mortuus (Funeral Mist, Triumphator) who played a pivotal role in Marduk's resurgence following the departure of former singer Legion.
