Black metal formation Der Weg Einer Freiheit has never stopped breaking the boundaries of the genre. With the release of their fifth album, Noktvrn, the Germans aim to expand the spirit and perspective of their ever-growing fan base, similar to how they pushed themselves into every element of the new album's creation. Noktvrn, the title is based on Nocturnes (night pieces) by the classical composer Frédéric Chopin, encompassing all aspects of the night: darkness, dreams, the obscure state of mind between being awake and sleeping, and last but not least the dawn of a new day.
